Donations of Books and Other Materials
The Library WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING donations of materials from August 1
to October 31, 2010.
The Haysville Community Library promotes a sponsorship program with
strategic partnerships being sought with corporations to establish new
projects and to further develop existing programs. The key to the
Library's partnership program is based on building long-term, mutually
beneficial relationships that meet the Library's operational needs and
strategic goals, as well as those of our partners.
By making charitable gifts during your lifetime, you can take maximum
advantage of the charitable deduction on your income tax return.
Lifetime gifts can also reduce the size of your estate and allow you to
see the money put to immediate use. You can even specify how the
Foundation uses your gift.
When a relative or friend dies and the family asks that you make a
contribution to a charity of choice, it is sometimes hard to decide
which charity should receive the gift. A gift to the Haysville
Community Library Foundation solves the problem, and the family of the
person you are remembering will be informed of the gift.
Charitable lead trusts or charitable remainder trusts are excellent
vehicles for significant giving and can offer major tax benefits to
donors. Please secure professional advice prior to making any
commitments to ensure the best possible result for your generosity.
You may choose to name the Library Foundation as a beneficiary in your
will. Your bequest may take the form of cash, securities, real estate,
or other assets.
ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE
