IPCC – Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
The official website of the IPCC, “a scientific intergovernmental body set up by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)" which seeks to provide “decision-makers and others interested in climate change with an objective source of information about climate change."

National Climatic Data Center (NCDC)
NCDC is the world’s largest active archive of weather data, produces numerous climate publications, and operates the World Data Center for Meteorology and the World Data Center for Paleoclimatology.

NOAA Climate Analysis Branch
Website of the branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Earth System Research Laboratory which works to improve interpretation of the causes of observed climate variations, and to apply this knowledge to improve climate models and forecasts.

NOAA Paleoclimatology Branch
Website of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s branch concentrating upon the study of past climate, for times prior to instrumental weather measurements.
