Library Lending Policy
The following is abridged and excerpted from the Haysville Community Library's Policy Manual. The Policy Manual is available in full at the library.
In order to make materials available to all person on a equal basis, the Haysville Community Library Board of Trustees has adopted the following policy for the circulation of materials.

|REFERENCE BOOKS||NOT NORMALLY AVAILABLE FOR CHECKOUT|
|GENEALOGY BOOKS||NO LIMIT||$.25/DAY||1 WEEK|
|PERIODICALS||10 ITEMS||$.10/DAY||1 WEEK|
|VIDEOS||3 ITEMS||$.10/DAY||1 WEEK|

LOST OR DAMAGED MATERIALS
Patrons are responsible for all materials checked out on their card, and are liable for damages to library materials. Patrons will be notified by mail of any replacement costs, including fines. If the patron has already paid the replacement cost and the item is later returned, the replacement cost will be refunded, but not the $5.00 processing fee or late charges. Items damaged beyond repair will be charged at replacement cost.
Patrons who continually lose or damage library materials may risk losing their library privileges.
